The Italian and the 16-year-old bay Stud-Book Selle Français gelding (Cavalor Cumano x Kayack) were victorious after having gone clear in the jump-off with a time of 36.68 seconds.
Bertram Allen ?? x High Valley (Obourg x Kashmir van Schuttershof) were the runners-up just six-hundredths of a second while Graham Gillespie ?? x Laverin de Saar (Lavarin x Testarossa) were third in 37.97 seconds.
